Currently 2nd year Bachelor of Communication majoring in Media Production (GPA: 6.5), High School Certificate (2010) with 2 band 6's (Art and Ancient History) and 3 band 5's (Advanced English, Advanced Mathematics and Drama) - won Mathematics Medallion and an ATAR of 89.1.
Experience
Currently tutoring five students from grades 3 to 11. I find the best way to learn is to teach someone else and love to continue learning myself, sharing my skills, particularly in mathematics, with other kids that may struggle in the area. I work hard for things I am passionate about and, as a result have excelled in the education system. I have also done quite a bit of childcare in the past and feel I can interact with younger children well - with authority and passion - and also feel comfortable teaching a student not for from my own age.

Hobbies
I'm an art enthusiast and am working towards a career in the film/media industry. I'm also passionate about history, particularly ancient history, literature and astronomy. I feel mathematics is difficult to grasp for some because it is so different from the linear, progressive way other subjects in the school system are taught. For me working out mathematical problems is meditative, calming and filled with joy as little complexities are unravelled and perfect sums organised - i'd love for other children that dislike the subject to feel this way also! Conversely I'm a very strong essay writer and would love to help break it down for other students.
